" Mastery of yoga is really measured by how yoga promotes clarity and peace of mind "

Appropriate yoga

... continued from More on Yoga:

Once a yoga practice adapts to the individual, it is then infinitely more effective when the whole body is engaged - not in a mechanical way but mindfully.   For a yoga session to incorporate this ‘mindful’ element there is attentiveness:  to each movement;  to the subtleties of each breath and  to how that breath coordinates with movement.  Yoga develops by replacing the mind’s chatter with at least this attentiveness.

The yoga at Timeless Yoga can be described as ' vini yoga '  - from an ancient Sanskrit word that means  "intelligent, appropriate application."   It is yoga according to each individual and their current circumstances.
